Job Summary
Develop and coordinate Autodesk Revit models for MEP systems, equipment rooms, and specialized technical spaces, applying constructible design logic to layouts, clearances, and routing. Lead model coordination and multidisciplinary integration using Revit and Navisworks, managing clash detection, issue tracking, and BIM standards aligned with ISO 19650 principles. Establish and enforce naming conventions and model health practices while communicating requirements across internal teams, consultants, and contractors. Design automation workflows using Dynamo for Revit to optimize early-stage layout studies, spatial feasibility analysis, and BOM-driven automation for plumbing and hydraulic systems. Support projects through SD50, SD100, DD100, Issued for Tender, Construction Administration, and Ongoing Design Guardianship phases. This role bridges engineering intent, manufacturable systems, and fabrication-ready deliverables for complex architectural and infrastructure projects.
Required Qualifications
- MEP-Centred System and Equipment Room Design
- Develop, manage, and coordinate Autodesk Revit models for MEP systems, equipment rooms, and specialized technical spaces
- Apply constructible, serviceable, and maintenance-ready design logic to layouts, clearances, access zones, and routing
- Translate engineering intent, hydraulic logic, and equipment selections into accurate spatial and BIM deliverables
- Act as a technical bridge between MEP engineering, BIM execution, fabrication logic, and construction/site coordination
- Lead model coordination and multidisciplinary integration using Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Navisworks
- Perform and manage clash detection, issue tracking, and coordination workflows
- Establish and enforce BIM standards, naming conventions, model health practices, and coordination protocols
- Support BIM delivery aligned with ISO 19650 information management principles
- Communicate BIM requirements clearly across internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain Dynamo for Revit workflows
- Apply automation strategically to improve early-stage clarity and technical decision-making
