Job Summary
Lead and develop a benefits team responsible for global health and welfare plans, retirement programs, leave management, wellness initiatives, and voluntary benefits, while coordinating with Payroll, HRIS, and Finance to ensure accurate administration and compliant execution. Drive annual benefits planning, vendor negotiations, and open enrollment, design communication strategies to educate employees, analyze utilization and costs, and recommend program improvements. Maintain compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and global requirements, manage relationships with vendors/brokers/consultants, and partner across regions to deliver high-quality benefits and support talent attraction and retention. Eligible for remote work in the United States with a focus on cross-regional/global benefits programs, including fertility coverage and surrogacy reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in benefits administration
- 1–2 years of people management or team leadership experience
- Strong working knowledge of US benefits regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency with HRIS and benefits administration platforms
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy across high-volume, complex work
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting demands while maintaining delivery commitments
- Experience supporting benefits programs in Brazil, India, or other international markets
- Professional certification (CEBS, CBP, PHR, SPHR, or similar)
- Experience with global benefits or multi-country compliance
- Exposure to using AI tools or technologies to improve efficiency or enhance benefit processes
