Job Summary
Benefits Manager to lead design, implementation, and administration of a broad, multi-state portfolio of benefit programs (health, wellness, retirement, disability, time-off). Partners with senior leadership, vendors and brokers (e.g., HUB International) to optimize plan design, pricing, and service delivery. Leverages data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to inform decision-making and improve colleague experience. Oversees open enrollment, compliance with ERISA/FMLA/HIPAA and SOX, and retirement plans (including 401(k) administration and audits). Leads wellness program strategy and communications, tracks program effectiveness, and drives continuous improvement. Requires collaboration with brokers/vendors, strong vendor management, and the ability to scale benefits programs across multiple states while ensuring cost effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline required
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in benefits
- CEBS certification preferred
- Experience in HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred)
- Ability to manage and mentor a small team
- Excellent organizational, customer service, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
