Job Summary
Behavioral Health Program Manager to lead the Partial Hospitalization Program, Assessment Department (ER & Onsite), and Inpatient Therapy teams. Responsibilities include operational oversight, clinical leadership, program coordination across multiple locations, development and revision of treatment protocols, ensuring regulatory compliance (including TJC), overseeing clinical research and outcome analyses, providing psycho-diagnostic and quality therapy services, and managing human resources, budgets, and policy/procedure development. Requires a Master's degree in a related field and Georgia licensure options (Professional Counselor, LMFT, or Social Worker) with approximately 5 years of behavioral health treatment experience including supervisory responsibilities. Must demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and relationship-management skills to oversee multiple programs and locations, with travel to Floyd locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, or Master's Degree in Psychology, Clinical, or Master's Degree in Psychology, Educational, or Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling or related field
- Professional Counselor license issued by the state of Georgia, or Marriage and Family Therapist license issued by the state of Georgia, or Social Worker, Clinical license issued by the state of Georgia
- Typically requires 5 years of experience in the delivery of treatment services and specialty training in the provision of care to patients needing behavioral health services
- Includes 1 year of supervisory experience in management of staff, budgets and multiple behavioral health functions
- Knowledge of growth and development principles and ability to assess data relative to age-specific needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and organizational tasks
- Experience leading PHP, ER assessment services, and inpatient therapy coordination
- Compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) and related regulatory requirements
- Budget development and operating/capital budgeting experience
- HR responsibilities including hiring, promotion, staff development, and performance evaluations
