Job Summary
Oversee banquet operations at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas as Manager - Banquets. Interpret guest needs and ensure satisfaction; supervise banquet staff and direct servers during events; manage banquet event orders (BEOs), coordinate with Catering, Chef, and Stewarding on timelines, menus, and equipment; monitor service quality and staff performance; handle cashiering procedures, payroll and tip distribution, and daily/weekly reports; forecast revenues, covers, and labor costs; coordinate with vendors for function amenities; ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance with health/alcohol requirements; ensure proper setup and timely delivery of services for group events; maintain inter-departmental communication and uphold departmental standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
- 3 years of experience as a banquet manager
- Demonstrated experience in a 4 star hotel preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Health, Alcohol Awareness Card (TAM) and any required certifications/licenses
