Job Summary
Lead the day-to-day department operations in a retail bakery, ensuring the associates are trained, the department is fully staffed, and operations meet company standards and KPIs. Responsibilities include ordering and maintaining inventory for the department, validating received orders for amount/quality/weight, managing a team to complete stocking and production tasks, ensuring product freshness and quality through proper rotation, knowing advertised items and store promotions, coordinating scheduling and labor control, implementing Our Winning Recipe and core values, supervising staff development, forecasting department goals, and participating in daily huddles and meetings. Requires a high school diploma or GED, and supervisory experience with strong communication and bookkeeping skills; Spanish language ability is highly desirable depending on location.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate (Required) or Equivalent (GED)
- Two years of retail experience preferred
- One-year supervisory experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Bookkeeping skills
