Job Summary
Lead the EDP Funnel backend engineering team across multiple countries, defining the technical roadmap for rider lifecycle domains (Acquisition, Retention, Supply); own the end-to-end software lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment, operations); drive architectural decisions while balancing delivery speed and technical debt; establish and maintain code quality, performance, reliability, and security standards including incident management and on-call ownership; manage multiple parallel initiatives (rider onboarding, mandatory insurance, mission/reward systems, 3PL, vendors) with clear timelines, resources, and risk; hire, coach, and develop engineers; align with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Operations, Legal, country teams) to prioritize and trade off requirements; continuously improve development processes including AI-based engineering enhancements to raise the team’s engineering excellence.
