Job Summary
Oversee daily audit operations in Stellenbosch by assigning tasks, tracking budgets and milestones, and ensuring files meet quality standards and Dutch practice requirements. Provide guidance to the local team based on client needs and Dutch audit standards while initiating new opportunities within the service offering. Build team culture by training colleagues in Dutch methods, organizing technical sessions, and fostering cohesion through communication and shared values. Coordinate daily with managers and partners in the Netherlands to maintain strong communication lines and support recruitment and onboarding. This role serves as a long-term home base for the Stellenbosch office, requiring periodic travel to the Netherlands and international clients to align with the Dutch practice.
Required Qualifications
- CA(SA) obtained
- At least 8 years of relevant audit experience
- Experience in an international environment
- Strong technical audit skills
- Ability and willingness to learn Dutch GAAP and Dutch auditing standards
- A leadership style that balances audit quality with genuine care for your colleagues and team culture
- Home base within the Cape Town region
