Job Summary
Lead and manage audits for large, public-listed clients through KPMG Australia’s largest audit practice. Responsible for overseeing audit delivery, client service, and business development; provide technical accounting guidance on high-judgement matters; design and perform audit procedures, obtain sufficient appropriate audit evidence, and ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. Provide inspirational leadership to grow and develop talent, build strong client relationships, and drive quality assurance and reporting. Opportunities exist to grow through a structured leadership program and access to KPMG’s global network of offices.
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of large and complex group audit engagements
- Strong IFRS skills
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated team leadership abilities
- US-SOX accreditation is desirable
