Job Summary
Lead auditing projects and client engagements for a Top 20 CPA and advisory firm. Collaborate with partners, staff, and clients to manage expectations, track engagement status, and identify opportunities to market firm services, contributing to new business while fostering strong relationships with coworkers and clients. Responsibilities include conducting multiple auditing engagements, communicating progress and findings, and mentoring staff accountants. Requires expertise in Employee Benefits Plans, CPA licensure, and 4-7 years of public accounting experience; master’s degree preferred. Minimal travel and a hybrid/remote-friendly work environment are supported.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Master’s degree preferred
- Licensed CPA
- 4-7 years of experience working for a public accounting firm
- Analytical skills in relation to financial statements and other financial information
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with clients and co-workers
- Demonstrating initiative and willingness to lead, make decisions, and work independently
- Energetically managing, coaching, and developing staff accountants
