Job Summary
Oversee the daily and weekly workloads of the Pricing Specialist Staff, ensuring tasks are completed timely and accurately. Conduct daily reviews of MAC drug pricing, Pharmacy Contract performance, and Client Contract performance. Maintain MAC drug pricing in the PBF system for pharmacy pricing appeals and routine updates while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Develop training documentation, create procedural desktops, and provide periodic retraining to keep staff prepared. Monitor project completion dates, troubleshoot complex Pharmacy requests, and resolve operational problems using defined processes. Set priorities for the team, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct annual performance reviews. Coordinate work activities with supervisors and departments to support cohesive team performance and meet performance objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multitask on several high-priority tasks at once
- Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible work schedule as needed to support night or weekend work
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access) experience and skills
- Proficiency with database management tools and presentation of data analysis
- Must have exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be detail oriented, dependable and motivated
- Possess acute attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills
- The ability to work in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- One plus years of Provider Relations experience is preferred
- Three years of leadership experience in an operations environment preferred
- COGNOS Business Software knowledge is preferred
- 2 to 3 years of drug pricing review experience
- 2 to 3 years of pharmacy contract experience
