Manager/Assistant Director (Food Safety and Security Act Implementation)

Job Summary
Lead enactment of the FSSA, coordinate drafting instructions, formulate new policies, and review current policies to ensure enabling legislation for the Singapore Food Authority (SFA) to operationalise food safety interventions. Drive a coordinated, tranche-wide stakeholder engagement strategy including planning and implementing public consultation and industry engagement activities. Organise and facilitate regular meetings with agendas, scheduling, and materials; record accurate meeting minutes; prepare presentations and progress reports for senior management; maintain organized documentation to support transparency and accountability; collaborate with divisions and external agencies on subsidiary legislation and policy development; manage timelines across multiple divisions and ensure progress against tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Working experience (>2 years) in project coordination or project administration role is required
- Independent team player with a positive work attitude
- Self-motivated, able to work well in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Good organisational skills, meticulous with attention to details
- Strong ability to manage and track multiple deadlines and follow up with responsible parties
- Possess good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, as well as good presentation skills
- Able to use a basic suite of computer software for office applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Comfortable using collaboration and project tracking tools such as Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Teams, etc.
- Demonstrate initiative, drive and willingness to take on additional duties when required
