Job Summary
Lead by example and execute the organizational strategy set by the AP Division to reduce shrinkage and enhance profitability. Act as Owner of building security and safety, educating the store on emergency preparedness and assisting employees in safety incidents. Develop strong relationships with Store Manager, Service Experience, Inventory Accuracy, and Human Resources leaders while monitoring reports to ensure proper documentation of incidents. Leverage data to identify trends that mitigate internal and external theft, driving the execution of company shrink reduction plans and directing internal and external investigations. Hire and develop talent with competencies to support auditing, shortage reduction programs, and AP awareness initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Proven success in investigative, asset protection, and security procedures
- Prior AP leadership experience
- A comprehensive understanding of Exception Based Reporting tools
- Case Management Software
- Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with other employees and leaders
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers and customers
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills when in high stress situations
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong organizational, delegation and follow-through skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency, including use of monitoring and surveillance technologies
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store needs
