Job Summary
Lead the store executive team in planning, implementing, and managing shortage prevention programs while analyzing theft trends through available reports and systems. Manage and monitor internal and external theft investigations, apprehensions, and recoveries to establish high-level shortage awareness determined by audit results. Recruit, develop, and manage qualified Asset Protection talent, including direct reports and hourly colleagues, while fostering retention and succession planning. Uphold diversity, inclusion, and respect ideals by modeling exemplary service and ensuring selling floor merchandise protection standards are maintained through regular audits. Handle high-profile incidents, special event management, and visits with senior leadership, leveraging partnerships with local law enforcement and community leaders. Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality while addressing colleague concerns fairly and consistently with company values.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of prior Asset Protection management experience
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs
- Must be able to stoop, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Must be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours
- Must be able to reach above eye level
- Must have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Must be able to sustain long periods enclosed in surveillance areas
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
