Job Summary
Manager, Asset Performance & Improvement leading delivery of Asset Management consulting projects for public and private sector clients from the Sydney base. Develop internal tools and IP to support the Asset Management & Performance team, prepare client proposals with value propositions and methodologies, and build relationships with clients and stakeholders. Drive opportunities by identifying and developing new projects; oversee cross-functional teams from Early Career Professionals to SMEs to achieve outcomes across markets and technical areas, from strategic decision support to long-term asset lifecycle uplift. Must bring exposure to heavy industry or defence, strong leadership, and excellent communication to elicit client needs and shape project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Exposure to heavy industry (Water, Resources, Oil & Gas) and/or Defence sector
- Understanding of Asset Management principles and/or background in an engineering discipline
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects or packages of work
- Demonstrated experience leading, empowering, and motivating diverse teams including Early Career Professionals through to SMEs
- Strong communication skills and experience engaging with clients and stakeholders to elicit and interpret needs and manage project delivery
- Can work with uncertainty and ambiguity and is not intimidated by things outside current knowledge base
