Job Summary
Manager for Artwork Design Execution in Colgate-Palmolive’s North America Packaging team. Oversees regional packaging graphics and print execution, aligning Design Managers, Artwork Coordinators, and external partners (Design/Premedia Agencies and Print Suppliers) for seamless regional adaptation. Drives end-to-end artwork process improvements, KPI adherence, hand-off into artwork approval, and cost tracking/invoicing for regional artwork activities. Requires collaboration with creative, technical, and business stakeholders across the design-to-print chain, and the ability to make decisions and provide recommendations amid uncertainty. Also requires a BS/BA in Graphic Design or related field and 6+ years in FMCG packaging design/graphics; expertise in packaging design, color reproduction, prepress, and familiarity with printing/decoration techniques and design software (Photoshop, Illustrator). The role is hybrid in Piscataway, NJ with travel up to 10% and offers a salary range of $109,600.00 - $155,000.00 USD.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years experience in FMCG Packaging Design/Graphics [Corporate or Agency On-Site].
- Expert knowledge of packaging design, adaptation, & prepress processes.
- Strong knowledge of color reproduction and management technologies.
- Working knowledge of packaging and commercial printing & decoration techniques [flexo, offset, gravure, screen, etc].
- Working knowledge of common packaging materials and how they impact design execution [labels, paperboards, films, etc].
- Working knowledge of color matching and hard/soft proofing technologies.
- Working knowledge of Basic knowledge of design software applications [Photoshop, Illustrator] & basic office applications [Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc].
