Job Summary
Area Service and Parts Manager overseeing Aftersales operations for Nissan's Chennai/NMIPL region. Responsible for customer satisfaction, customer-voice management, and profitability of Aftersales with dealer collaboration; monitor and drive KPIs such as CSI, service revenue, parts sales, and warranty performance; review dealer and service-advisor performance, optimize outlet-level business plans, and support dealer marketing, CRM and recall/technical campaigns. Lead training, incentive programs, and cross-functional coordination with Warranty, Parts, Sales, Finance, and Vendors; ensure adequate technician capacity, parts availability, and compliance with NSSW, AS-DOS, and 5S; travel to assigned dealers monthly and provide field support to improve service and customer experience. Enterprise focus on Express Service, service contracts, tire programs, and accessory sales; develop and cascade dealer incentives to improve profitability and CSI; manage recalls, campaigns, and technical bulletins; aim to expand Nissan Aftersales network in the region and maintain high service quality across outlets. Key interactions include Warranty, Parts Department, Training, Marketing, ISIT, Finance, Techline, Dealers, Vendors, and DMS; KPIs include CSI retention, Parts & Accessories wholesale, extended warranty penetration, CPTV, ART, and dealer profitability. Skills and knowledge emphasize mechanical engineering background, experience in automotive aftersales, strong communication, Excel proficiency, driving capabilities, and OEM-certified technical training with EV/Hybrid knowledge as a plus.
