Manager Antimicrobial Stewardship - Boston, MA.

Manager Antimicrobial Stewardship oversees the Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacists (ASPs) across Beth Israel Lahey Health community hospitals, supervising day-to-day ASP activities, hiring/performing reviews, developing in-house training, and guiding program strategy. The role coordinates with the Director, Medical Directors, and the Chief Infection Prevention Officer to lead antimicrobial utilization tracking, guideline development, reporting of NHSN metrics, antimicrobial formulary management, and cross-site collaboration to improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities include staff supervision, telehealth process development, standardizing documentation, adherence to CDC NHSN metrics and state/federal regulatory requirements (TJC, DNV, CMS), participation in P&T activities, education-material development, and ensuring adequate coverage of AS activities across facilities. Required qualifications include a PharmD, MA/NH pharmacist licensure, Board Certification in Infectious Disease Practice, Certification in Antimicrobial Stewardship, and 7+ years in antimicrobial stewardship or ID pharmacy with supervisory experience.
