Job Summary
Manager Analytics is an Individual Contributor role focused on identifying complex, fuzzy problems, breaking them into solvable parts, and implementing data-driven solutions. The role involves defining, tracking, and improving key metrics and communicating business trends to stakeholders. Responsibilities include modeling data to create reporting infrastructure and dashboards for business process management and data mining, working closely with business/product teams to enable data-driven decision making, executing quantitative analyses to translate data into actionable insights, driving data-driven decisions through stakeholders, and identifying new opportunities for the business from internal and external data. The position also emphasizes leading the team to adopt innovative approaches to solving business problems and requires strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related discipline from a reputed institute OR an MBA from a reputed institute
- 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, and/or R
- Experience with Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Superset)
- Experience analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets
- Ability to break down problems into components and negotiate scope
- Strong business sense, persistence to derive insights from data
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to independently plan and execute deliveries
- Experience with data reporting infrastructure and dashboards
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive data-driven decision making
- Experience with data mining and exploratory data analysis
