Job Summary
Analytics Manager leading an embedded analytics team within Caterpillar's Excavation Division Finance/Accounting to deliver analytics, dashboards, models, and automation solutions; establish governance and data-quality standards; partner with senior leaders to identify, size, and prioritize analytics opportunities that drive measurable business and financial outcomes; translate business questions into analytical approaches, ensure insights are actionable and trusted, and communicate KPI trends and risks in an executive-ready manner.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading analytics teams delivering dashboards, models, and automation solutions
- Strong grounding in business statistics and analytical methods
- Ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches with balance of speed, rigor, and scalability
- Experience using varied analytical tools and data sources to solve business problems
- Proven ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders and to leadership
- Ability to connect analytics work to financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic priorities
- Strong stakeholder management skills with capability to challenge assumptions and influence decisions through data
- Proven track record of driving change or capability uplift within a team or function
- Experience across function collaboration and advising leaders on trade-offs, risks, and opportunities
- Leadership experience with coaching, problem-solving, and effective communication
- Willingness to work onsite five days a week at the assigned location
