Job Summary
Manager role focusing on independent AML model validation across enterprise (e.g., transaction monitoring, client risk rating, sanction screening, watch lists). Deliver validation solutions per work plan, perform data verification and quality assurance, develop validation reports, and document validation work for independent reviews. Support regulatory/audit requests and collaborate with model developers and stakeholders. Requires strong SQL and programming skills (SQL, SAS, R, Python, VBA, MATLAB), data analysis capabilities, and an advanced degree in quantitative disciplines. CAMS designation is an asset. Location: Toronto, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in quantitative disciplines
- Strong experience with AML model validation and data management
- SQL proficiency and ability to write complex queries
- Proficiency in programming languages (SQL, SAS, R, Python, VBA, MATLAB)
- Experience with data analysis and statistical techniques
- Knowledge of AML regulatory requirements (preferred)
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience with data visualization and documentation
- Experience with AML tools such as Oracle Mantas (asset)
- CAMS designation (asset)
