Job Summary

Lead strategic governance of a portfolio of technology initiatives advancing patient access and operational excellence across the ambulatory enterprise. Identify, evaluate, and prioritize investments leveraging Cerner capabilities, AI, and automation to optimize workflows and enhance performance. Manage the full lifecycle of programs from concept through adoption, developing business cases and maintaining a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with organizational strategy. Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to define high-impact use cases, coordinate project activities, and implement standardized workflows. Monitor key access metrics and program outcomes via executive dashboards to drive data-informed decision-making and ensure sustained ROI.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Degree in a related field
  • 5 years Experience in healthcare operations, consulting, program management, or digital transformation
  • 3 years Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and complex implementations
  • 3 years Experience with healthcare technologies (e.g., EHR systems such as Cerner or Epic)
  • 1 year Understanding of emerging AI capabilities
  • Strategic planning and critical thinking skills for problem solving and identification of solutions
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, or digital health tools
  • Knowledge of ambulatory workflows and access management strategies
  • Proficiency of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management including tools and techniques (formal project planning, risk/issue management, governance, cost/benefit analysis, project change controls, etc.)
  • Ability to facilitate working sessions with large, cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience with healthcare technologies (e.g., EHR systems such as Cerner or Epic)
  • Fire Life Safety Training (LA City)
  • Must be able to obtain Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) within 30 days of hire and maintain by renewal before expiration date

  • Master's degree (MHA, MBA) Degree or equivalent degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • PMP or Change Management Certificate
