Job Summary

Hands-on Manager of Advanced Analytics to design and implement scalable analytics solutions and BI capabilities. Lead the development of analytics solutions and dashboards using Databricks and Power BI; establish data governance to ensure accuracy and trust. Build customized reports for functional and executive stakeholders; translate business needs into technical solutions for Risk Adjustment, Quality, Finance, and Clinical Operations. Mentor analysts and engineers, oversee end-to-end deliverables such as HEDIS measure calculation, gap-to-goal reporting, RAF analytics, and compliance improvements across multiple lines of business. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive measurable impact, drive improvements to Star Ratings and risk score accuracy through advanced analytics, and partner with Data Engineering and IT to enhance data infrastructure and resolve data quality issues. Promote best practices in analytics, data engineering, and BI development; manage performance reviews and development goals for the analytics team. The role is remotely based in the U.S., with a compensation target of $160,000–$170,000.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, data science, analytics, statistics, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in data analytics and engineering, with at least 2+ years in a technical lead or mentorship role
  • Expertise with modern data stacks including Databricks, SQL, Azure, Power BI, and Python
  • Strong understanding of value-based care analytics, risk adjustment, quality analytics (HEDIS) utilization management, finance, and claims
  • Experience working with healthcare datasets and measures such as HCC, HEDIS, and clinical analytics
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for clinical and operational teams
  • Experience in managing quality improvement initiatives and member outreach programs to close care gaps
  • Strong understanding of EHR, claims, and supplemental data integration for quality reporting
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, working across providers, payers, and internal teams
  • Knowledge of SDLC best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and lead cross-functional initiatives
