Manager, Administrator & Obligor Accounting (AO)

Job Summary
Manage direct reports through planning and organizing departmental duties while leading continuous process improvement initiatives. Oversee the monthly financial close process for administrators and obligors, ensuring proper cost recording, journal entry review, and financial statement preparation. Monitor general ledger activity to identify unusual trends and ensure compliance with account reconciliations as the primary reviewer. Assist in sales reporting variance analysis and develop relevant KPIs to optimize team performance. Maintain ultimate authority over transaction classification and booking, establishing policies to prevent fraud. This role reports to the Director AOI accounting and works closely with operational and financial leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of accounting work experience
- 3 years of people management
- Experience within the insurance or service contract industry
- Experience in financial systems (NetSuite, SAP, Blackline, Great Plains, etc.)
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Must be based in the United States
