Job Summary
Actuarial Manager to assist the Senior Manager in defining and implementing actuarial standards and processes for insurance business. Responsible for experience studies, monitoring trends, preparing the Financial Condition Report with analytical inputs, supporting reinsurance management and renewals, and providing financial/actuarial analysis for initiatives including adherence to guidelines and governance. Also responsible for data quality improvements, analytics capability enhancement, and coaching team members to ensure consistent delivery quality; communicate findings clearly to management and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Actuarial Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics or other numerate discipline
- Actively pursuing professional actuarial examinations
- Minimum 5 years of actuarial work experience
- Proficiency with programming tools (e.g. Visual Basic)
- Knowledge: Prophet (preferred) or other projection software would be preferred but training will be provided otherwise
Desired Qualifications
- Active pursuit of actuarial examinations
