Job Summary
As a Manager, Actuarial, you will manage product development of new and existing Businessowner Policy products and lead rate adequacy reviews to support profitable growth. This role involves managing end-to-end product filings, conducting competitive intelligence analyses, and communicating project results to staff and business partners. You will need a Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or a related STEM field and at least 5 years of experience in P&C insurance. Strong communication skills, technical expertise in Microsoft Office, R, and SQL, and effective management skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or STEM-related field
- 5+ years of P&C insurance experience
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance products
- Commercial Property or Businessowners Policy (BOP) product experience
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical resources
- Proven organizational and time-management skills; strong attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- ACAS or FCAS, FCAS is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, R and SQL
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
