Manager - Actuarial

Lead actuarial analyses for reinsurance clients from Mumbai in a hybrid role. Responsibilities include organizing client data, validating reasonability, loading data into predictive models, running models, and compiling narratives to explain risk to clients; producing exhibits, dashboards, and decks for discussions on reinsurance strategy; assessing risk exposures and predicting outcomes to support transactions; researching industry and regulatory developments impacting loss liabilities; maintaining relationships with brokers/clients/reinsurers, addressing client queries, and staying updated on industry trends; leveraging MetaRisk software and internal tools to design and optimize reinsurance transactions and evaluate impact on client capital, growth, and volatility. Key qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a technical discipline, 4+ years of experience (with at least 2 actuarial exams preferred), strong organizational and communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and proficiency in MS Excel with exposure to R, Python, SQL, Alteryx, and Power BI preferred.
