Manager, Activities - FT Days

Organize, direct, and provide activity programs and services that meet the recreational needs of Care Center and Swing Bed residents in accordance with state and federal requirements. Oversee the day-to-day activities of staff and volunteers within the department. Implement individualized activity plans, promote group activities, and provide appropriate interventions on a one-on-one and group basis to maintain or enrich residents' physical, psychological, and spiritual functions. Assist in maintaining a safe home-like environment while improving quality of life and preserving resident dignity and identity. This union position requires a degree in occupational therapy, recreational therapy, or completion of an Activity Coordinator training program, along with strong communication and organizational skills.
