Job Summary
Lead and mentor a team of AD administrators and support engineers to ensure high performance and operational efficiency. Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Active Directory Services, including domain controllers, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and CA. Ensure the stability, security, and performance of Active Directory across the organization. Act as an escalation point for Active Directory-related issues; conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures. Participate in on-call and standby duties based on business criticality. Implement security best practices for AD, manage privileged access and audit policies, and ensure compliance with standards. Monitor performance, collaborate with infrastructure and security teams, and manage vendor relationships and budgets. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in IT, 7+ years of relevant experience (3+ in a managerial role with regional coverage), expertise in AD components, IAM concepts, and relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline
- 7+ years of relevant experience including at least 3 years in a managerial position with regional coverage
- Hands on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, CA
- Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) including Azure AD, LDAP, and SSO
- Experience with cloud-based directory services environments is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified or equivalent are highly desirable
