Job Summary

Direct day-to-day regulatory readiness activities including internal audits, mock surveys, tracer programs, and regulatory education across clinical and operational departments. Lead site/network accreditation, regulatory compliance, and licensing operations ensuring alignment with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, The Joint Commission, and state requirements. Manage all surveys, corrective action planning, staff training, and policy implementation at facility levels while overseeing improvement processes related to accreditation preparation and licensing. Partner with system leadership to align compliance programs with organizational strategy and mobilize teams to achieve high-quality, safe, cost-effective care. Conduct annual state regulatory compliance assessments, develop action plans for citations, and interpret federal, state, and Joint Commission standards for hospital departments. Manage internal investigations of compliance issues, review operational risks, and develop risk management strategies. Prepare and submit reports on unusual occurrences and adverse events, ensuring immediate corrective actions are implemented to safeguard patient safety.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Healthcare Accreditation Certificated Professional (HACP) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification
  • All required vaccinations

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Five years' healthcare or related experience
  • Three years' in accreditation, regulatory compliance or process improvements
  • Two years' leadership experience
