Job Summary
Direct day-to-day regulatory readiness activities including internal audits, mock surveys, tracer programs, and regulatory education across clinical and operational departments. Lead site/network accreditation, licensing operations, and corrective action planning while managing surveys with governmental agencies like the Joint Commission and CMS. Conduct annual state regulatory compliance assessments, develop action plans for citations, and manage internal investigations of compliance issues. Design systems to ensure continual regulatory and licensure compliance, monitor Joint Commission standards, and prepare reports on unusual occurrences and adverse events. Collaborate with nursing, medical staff, and Risk Management to implement Federal, State, and Joint Commission standards. Manage a team of professionals to safeguard facility licensing status and maintain accurate documentation for regulatory filings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Healthcare Accreditation Certificated Professional (HACP) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Five years' healthcare or related experience
- Three years' in accreditation, regulatory compliance or process improvements
- Two years' leadership experience
