Manager - Accounts Receivables

Job Summary
Oversee accurate and timely application of customer payments to outstanding invoices and manage a team of cash application specialists. Lead day-to-day cash posting operations, resolve complex payment discrepancies and unapplied cash, and partner with Collections, Credit, and Treasury to drive process improvements. Manage daily activities of outsourced specialists, balance cash daily, facilitate month-end closing, and review supporting journal entries for accuracy. Handle A/R confirmations, assist with internal and external audits, and support quarterly and annual audit activities. Invoicing customers via email, fax, or mail while assessing internal controls and identifying control gaps. Perform ad hoc projects as requested by leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from a four-year college or university
- 6-8 years related experience
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies
- Strong attention to details
- Diplomacy and ability to deal with difficult situations
- Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills
- Solid Microsoft Office skills (Word & Excel)
- V-lookup and Pivot tables
- Macros
- AI tool implementation and usage skills in the job function
- Attitude towards work and timeliness in completing daily tasks
- Sense of urgency to get it done
- Relationship Management
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
Desired Qualifications
