Manager, Accounts Receivable

Manager, Accounts Receivable oversees hospital A/R operations, including billing, collections, and reimbursement processes, and may manage all or a portion of A/R in a cash acceleration or wind-down project. The role leads a team of A/R specialists, collaborates with multiple departments to improve cash flow, reduce denials, and enhance financial performance, and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations and payer requirements. Responsibilities include monitoring outstanding patient accounts, resolving billing errors and denials, conducting regular team meetings, optimizing revenue cycle performance, and mentoring staff to achieve monthly collection goals and improved KPIs. Requires hands-on training, knowledge of the full revenue cycle, proficiency with billing software and EHRs, and strong analytical skills; travel as needed and remote/hybrid work options are supported. The position is based with Ovation Healthcare, with a corporate HQ in Brentwood, TN, and remote capabilities for U.S.-based operations.
