Job Summary
Manage the technical and commercial aspects of Accounting & Reporting Assurance engagements by overseeing the audit portfolio, evaluating project feasibility and risks, and determining the control approach. Lead the review of complex items in annual accounts, including consolidated financial statements, while advising clients on IFRS/NL GAAP compliance and reporting standards. Conduct client interviews to analyze business needs and draft position papers for complex financial reporting issues. Support clients with audit readiness, concept balance sheet preparation, and internal control framework optimization. Collaborate with the Audit Director and Partner on technical execution, manage tender and marketing initiatives, and ensure adherence to quality norms.
Required Qualifications
- Een (post)masterdiploma in Accountancy, Controlling, Finance of Economie
- Een afgeronde postdoctorale accountantsopleiding (bijvoorbeeld RA, AA, CPA of een gelijkwaardige kwalificatie)
- Minimaal 6 jaar relevante werkervaring binnen een accountantskantoor
- Goede kennis van IFRS
- Bereidheid om te reizen
- Uitstekende mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatieve vaardigheden in zowel het Nederlands als het Engels
- Sterke analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden en het vermogen om projecten aan te sturen
- Een doelgerichte instelling en oog voor duurzaamheidsvraagstukken, waarbij je impact maakt die ertoe doet
- Sterke sociale en klantgerichte vaardigheden
- Een intrinsieke motivatie om van anderen te leren
- Een echte teamspeler
Desired Qualifications
- kennis van NL GAAP en US GAAP is een pré
- Ervaring binnen een Big Four-kantoor is een pré
