Job Summary
Execute and lead Accounting & Reporting Advisory engagements with primary responsibility for research and preparation of client deliverables. Prepare and review account reconciliations and support communication with client vendors, identifying issues, resolving discrepancies, and escalating matters as appropriate. Review and analyze complex contracts, conducting and supporting technical accounting research and documenting conclusions in accordance with applicable guidance. Prepare and contribute to the review of accounting memoranda and policies, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with accounting standards. Partner with clients ranging from early stage to large publicly traded organizations in an industry-agnostic environment. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for clients including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and journal entries. Interact with finance-focused ERPs (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP, Oracle) and leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance research and deliverable preparation. Serve as post-acquisition integration SME and technical accounting subject-matter expert for the firm’s valuation practice. Drive business development and proposals; identify opportunities to scale efficiencies across projects. Requires strong knowledge of US GAAP, experience with complex contracts and accounting research, and ability to communicate analytical conclusions to clients and leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years of finance process and/or transformation experience
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP (finance/accounting standards)
- Experience with M&A post-acquisition integration
- CPA preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to prepare financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures
- Ability to communicate with C-suite/executives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Experience in business development or client pursuit activities
