Job Summary
Revenue Manager at Palo Alto Networks leads revenue close activities, drives systemization of revenue workflows, and oversees RPO, contra-revenue accounting, and monthly accruals. Responsible for journal entries, reconciliations, and analytics to monitor program performance, assist FP&A with forecasting, maintain SOX controls, and support external audits. Requires a CPA or equivalent experience, 7+ years in revenue accounting/finance in technology or SaaS, and strong technical knowledge of ASC 606 and quote-to-cash processes. Office-based in California with a focus on in-person collaboration; compensation range $118,000–$191,500 per year plus potential RSUs and bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting, revenue operations, or finance in Technology or SaaS
- 3 years of Big 4 public accounting experience (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
- Understanding of ASC 606 and qtc processes
- Experience with SAP & RAR, BigQuery, Blackline, Tableau, and SFDC (preferred)

- Experience with quote-to-cash processes
- Experience with forecasting and FP&A coordination
- Ability to manage RPO (remaining performance obligations) processes
- Experience with audit support and external audits
- Ability to drive systemization of revenue workflows
- Hands-on, proactive self-starter
