Job Summary
The Manager, Work Order Life Cycle leads process/system improvements for CWIP/RWIP in PowerPlan and SAP, oversees reconciliation of asset information across multiple Operating Companies, supervises clerical staff and analysts, ensures accuracy of financial reporting and month-end close, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to meet service levels. Requires a Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) in Accounting/Finance/Business Admin and at least 7 years of fixed asset accounting experience; proficient with PowerPlan, SAP, Maximo, and related tools; strong analytical and leadership skills; hybrid work arrangement in Syracuse, NY; Waltham, MA; and Brooklyn, NY. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (minimum 7 years progressive work experience in fixed asset accounting)
- Knowledge of PowerPlan, SAP, Maximo, STORMS, and other work management systems
- Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills
- Experience managing a team and coordinating with multiple operating companies
- Understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley policies
- Ability to analyze asset additions/retirements and ensure accuracy
- Experience with month-end close and journal entries
