Job Summary
Lead the day-to-day operations of both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions within Illumina's Global Accounting Shared Services. Manage AP team performance, oversee invoice processing, payment scheduling, and sub-ledger reconciliations, while driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing new systems. Oversee AR collection targets, manage order holds, and lead cross-functional projects including mergers, acquisitions, and system upgrades. Prepare regular performance reports for senior leadership and contribute to strategic initiatives regarding cash flow and vendor negotiations. This role requires a minimum of 8 years of accounting experience with 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting/finance
- At least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role overseeing AR and AP processes in a multinational environment
- Proven experience in managing and driving AR and AP month end close process
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in presenting to senior leadership and other stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- CA or Masters/Bachelor's degree
- Prior experience in SAP
