Job Summary
Prepare and review monthly journal entries, intercompany charges, and balance key ledger accounts including cash, receivables, payables, and fixed assets. Identify new business activities and determine revised accounting for related transactions. Lead efforts to develop and implement accounting process improvements within the Corporate Accounting group. Manage the fixed assets subledger and support compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls. Ensure accurate recording, reporting, and analysis of business transactions to meet internal and external requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- At least five to seven (5-7) years' experience in an Accounting or Finance environment
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and handle a high volume of tasks under time constraints
- Experience using ERPs, accounting applications, and BI tools
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong MS Office Suite skills including Excel PivotTables and Formulas (V-Lookup, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred
