Job Summary
Lead the finance team in maintaining accurate financials, including AR aging, revenue accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and treasury management. Oversee month-end and quarter-end closes, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 and 16 while managing external audits and internal reporting. Supervise daily operations, conduct performance reviews, and drive process improvements to automate financial reporting. Collaborate with business managers on monthly forecasts and manage fixed assets and payables. Requires 7-10 years of leadership experience, a Professional Accounting Designation, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in a leadership role including team management
- Financial knowledge in the software / IT field, specifically with financial operations and accounting guidelines
- A strong understanding of accounting guidelines, particularly IFRS 15 and IFRS 16
- Ability to manage and prioritize competing deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including advanced use of Excel workbooks and PowerPoint
- Professional Accounting Designation
