Job Summary
Manage accounting advisory engagements within KPMG's Accounting Advisory Services, providing advisory support including implementation of new accounting standards, SEC regulatory filings for spin-offs/carve-outs/IPO/debt offerings, and conversion services for US GAAP or IFRS. Deliver transaction-oriented accounting and reporting assistance for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and complex financing structures, including fresh-start accounting post-bankruptcy. Lead staff on engagements, monitor engagement metrics, and present accounting findings. Travel as required. CPA or CPA-equivalent is preferred; Bachelor’s degree required. Emphasizes integrity, professionalism, and a collaborative, team-driven culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field
- Licensed CPA or CPA equivalent preferred; eligibility required
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship now or in the future (no sponsorship)
