Job Summary
Manager, Accounting Advisory Services to provide accounting advisory support to clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards; assist with SEC regulatory filings for spin-offs, carve-outs, IPOs, debt offerings, and other acquisition filings; provide conversion services to U.S. GAAP or IFRS for US and foreign registered companies; deliver transaction-oriented accounting and reporting support for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, complex financing structures, and fresh-start accounting upon emergence from bankruptcy; oversee staff performance, track engagement metrics, and prepare/present accounting findings; travel to client sites as needed; uphold integrity and a professional work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field required; licensed CPA or CPA equivalent preferred; eligibility required
- Minimum five years of recent experience in financial audit with a public accounting or advisory firm or minimum five years of recent financial reporting and consolidations experience with a Fortune 500 organization
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; no sponsorship
- Proven ability to manage staff and present accounting findings
