Job Summary
Manager, Accounting Advisory Services in KPMG's Deal Advisory practice. Provide accounting advisory support to clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards; assist with SEC regulatory filings for spin-offs, carve-outs, IPOs, debt offerings and other acquisition filings; perform conversion services to US GAAP or IFRS; deliver transaction-oriented accounting and reporting support for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, complex financing structures, and post-emergence fresh-start accounting; manage staff and oversee engagement metrics and presentation of accounting findings, while upholding integrity and a professional work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of recent experience in financial audit with a public accounting or advisory firm or minimum five years of recent financial reporting and consolidations experience with a Fortune 500 organization
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field is required; licensed CPA or CPA equivalent preferred; eligibility required
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Willingness and ability to travel
