Job Summary
Manager, Accounting Advisory Services in KPMG's Advisory practice focusing on accounting advisory support for clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards, SEC regulatory filings for spin-offs/IPO/debt offerings, and conversion services to U.S. GAAP or IFRS. Responsibilities include providing transaction-oriented accounting and reporting support for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and financing structures, delivering fresh-start accounting post-bankruptcy, and managing engagement staff and financial metrics while upholding a professional, collaborative culture. Travel is expected; CPA or CPA-equivalent is preferred; eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required. Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of recent experience in financial audit with a public accounting or advisory firm or minimum five years of recent financial reporting and consolidations experience with a Fortune 500 organization
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field is required; licensed CPA or CPA equivalent preferred; eligibility required
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Willingness and ability to travel
