Manager, Accounting & Advisory (Financial Services)

Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of clients including funds, asset managers, payment services providers, and fintech companies while overseeing the delivery of accounting, financial reporting, and advisory services. Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements, providing technical guidance to the team to support quality and risk management. Drive process improvements, lead staff development through coaching and performance management, and take ownership of the portfolio's financial performance, fee recovery, and profitability. Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and participating in prospect meetings to expand the client base.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, and/or an equivalent professional qualification
- At least 5–8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in professional services, audit, accounting outsourcing, fund administration or the Financial Services sector
- Exposure to funds, fund/asset managers, payment services providers, fintech companies or other regulated entities
- Proven experience in managing client portfolios and leading teams
- Good project and resource management capabilities
- Good knowledge of SFRS/IFRS/US GAAP, financial reporting requirements and the Singapore Financial Services regulatory environment
- Ability to provide practical technical guidance
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively across all levels
- Confidence to engage with senior stakeholders
- Commercially minded
- Interest in developing business development capabilities
- Ability to build client relationships
- Ability to identify new business opportunities
