Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly attitude, answer product questions, and recommend merchandise to achieve personal sales goals. Manage visual displays for categories like denim and shoes, maintain store standards, and complete register procedures and bank deposits daily. Train and motivate teammates, assist with recruiting and interviewing, and act as the Store Manager during their absence. Handle emergencies, communicate policy violations or guest concerns to leadership, and travel to cover other stores within the district.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel, including overnight as required
- Relocation may be required
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in relevant field of study preferred; or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to travel and cover other Stores within District based on business needs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
