Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly attitude, answer questions about merchandise, and recommend items based on guest needs. Fulfill sales goals by maintaining personal sales-per-hour targets and achieving performance standards in business builders and guest loyalty programs. Manage visual displays for categories like denim and shoes, ensure the sales floor is consistently sized, and complete register balance and bank deposits daily. Perform store opening and closing procedures, handle returns and exchanges, and act as the Store Manager in their absence by immediately handling emergencies and recruiting new Teammates. Assist Store Manager with coaching, interviewing, and onboarding new hires while adhering to loss prevention policies and store key controls. Maintain a clean, organized store, communicate repair needs, and report policy violations or guest concerns to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in relevant field of study preferred; or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel, including overnight as required
- Relocation may be required
- Ability to travel and cover other Stores within District based on business needs
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
