Job Summary
Management Trainee for Legence's Installation & Maintenance segment is an 18-month program designed to develop early-career operations leaders. Trainees rotate through multiple business units, participate in performance reviews and milestones, and collaborate with mentors to gain hands-on exposure to field operations, project execution, and business management. The program emphasizes traveling to job sites, potential relocation, relationship-building with employees and leadership, on-the-job learning, and transitioning into front-line or operational roles within I&M upon successful completion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong academic performance and leadership exposure— on campus, in the community, through prior work, or military service
- Genuine interest in field operations, the skilled trades, and the built environment
- Willingness to travel regularly and relocate as needed during the 18-month program
- Strong communication skills — comfortable working with both craft employees in the field and senior leaders in the office
- Self-starter with high personal accountability and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
