Job Summary
Software Engineer - Investment ops role focusing on managing investment operations for clients, including trade settlements, corporate actions, and cash management. Responsibilities also include ensuring regulatory compliance, developing documentation/policies for investment operations, collaborating to implement process improvements, staying current with industry trends, and leveraging investment management platforms and systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Charles River, Reuters, FactSet). Requires knowledge of equities, bonds, derivatives, and experience with trade settlements, portfolio accounting, and performance analytics; strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of work experience in relevant field
- B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university (computer science background preferred)
- Knowledge of investment products such as equities, bonds, and derivatives
- Experience in managing investment operations processes such as trade settlements, portfolio accounting, and corporate actions
- Familiarity with investment management systems such as Bloomberg, Reuters, or FactSet
- Understanding of investment performance reporting and analytics
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Alignment with the company’s long-term vision
