Job Summary
Conduct safety meetings with plant staff and correct hazards while observing all company safety rules. Rotate through operations roles from raw material collection to finished goods shipments, performing hourly functions as needed. Train hourly employees, fill in for supervisors during absences, and assist with maintenance including preventive techniques and repairs. Lead continuous improvement efforts, support annual budget development with the General Manager, and manage relationships with raw material suppliers. Achieve individual and department targets while adhering to the formal training program and periodic evaluations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in agriculture, engineering, industrial management or related field
- 1 or more years of related experience
- HS diploma/GED
- 4-5 years of plant/production management experience
